Meet Sarah

- Sarah

I met my husband in eighth grade in the Raleigh area and shortly after moved to Charlotte. We stayed in touch for years, went on dates here and there, dated other people in between and finally found our way back to each other our senior year of college!

We were married March of 2018, welcomed our first child, Evelyn Grace, in August of 2019, and our son, Edward James, in February of 2021! We have lived a lot of life together and love that we get to live so much more hand in hand, while raising our sweet (and busy) kiddos!

I was born in New Jersey and moved all around the East Coast, finally making my way to North Carolina.

I believe in real moments and chasing sunsets. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come.

At the heart of who I am is a wife, mama, photographer, Jesus follower, blogger, business owner, daughter, banana pudding ice cream lover, youtube fanatic, and lover of love. I truly feel happiest when I am spending time with my family, going for walks around our neighborhood, getting in the Word and spending time with God or am behind my camera capturing the beauty around me.

Even with it's ups and downs, your life, your story, are beautiful and I can't wait to create images to show that!

Hi, I'm Sarah! IT's So Lovely TO MEET YOU.

She made my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera and the pictures turned out so beautiful. Her editing only enhanced the photos and she took her time in the moment to make sure everything looked it’s best!

Dahlias, daisies, heck, even dandelions. I'm a big believer that a few fresh florals in a jar and you can transform any room or occasion into something elegant (or even magical if it happens to be peony season!)

We believe that life's biggest and smallest moments are worth celebrating. You'll always find a bottle of champagne in our fridge in the event that the night deserves a bit of celebrating!

New isn't always better. We're big fans of spending the afternoon sifting through antique shops and secondhand stores for timeless pieces with secret stories. Our favorite find? A vintage pair of Jimmy's!

If you're looking for images that are beautiful and emotive and a photo experience that is as easy as checking into a five star hotel, you're in the right place.

I value taking the time to get to know each couple and family that I work with so that I can best tell the story of their lives. Get ready to fill your walls with images that make you smile for years to come.

It started

with a kiss

My husband and I met in 2007 when we were just babies in eighth grade. We were each others first boyfriend and girlfriend all those years back. In the middle of that year I ended up moving from Cary, NC to Charlotte, NC and ultimately Cameron and I broke up.

We stayed friends and would Skype here and there. Anytime we did we would talk for HOURS. Like nothing changed. It wasn't until the summer before our Senior year of college that we started seeing each other more frequently again. He went to NC State and I at UNCW. We would go on dates, talk for hours, and finally in January of 2016 we were officially dating!

Through the ups and downs that life through our way, our friendship and love for one another continued to grow. We were engagement March or 2017 and married March 3, 2018! We now have a beautiful little girl named Evelyn and a baby boy named Edward! We couldn't feel more grateful to God for leading our steps back to one another after all those yeas!
