What started as documenting families for my past wedding couples has grown into something I deeply love: capturing the beauty of real life, just as it is. Cereal on the floor, laundry piles in the hallway, and parents running on coffee and grace—I see it all as part of your sacred story.
And some of my favorite sessions? They happen right in your home.
There’s something so sweet about photographing your family in the space where life unfolds—the living room where you read stories, the nursery where you rock your baby to sleep, the kitchen where tiny hands help stir pancake batter. In-home sessions allow your kids to be fully themselves, and they let me capture you exactly as you are: connected, comfortable, and deeply loved.
So let’s plan a day, pick a space that matters to you, and create images that will fill your walls with joy and your heart with gratitude for years to come.
No matter the season you’re in—whether your babies are big, small, or covered in fur—this time is holy, and it deserves to be remembered.
Unless you've modeled professionally, you're probably going to feel awkward in front of the camera. Heck, I take photos for a living and I even feel like a deer in the headlights when I'm in front of the camera.
You may feel awkward at first, but I can promise you that as the session goes on and I coach you through poses, you'll find that being photographed can actually be a lot of fun. And don't worry about your kids. I'm well versed in capturing even the busiest of little ones.

If picking out outfits for photos takes you back to your high school days when you literally tried on everything in your closet and piled it on your bed but still felt like you had nothing to wear, you're in luck.
I put together an extensive outfit suggestion guide with tips for every member of the family! I even have a Client Closet full of dresses that you are welcome to choose from for your session.

The sooner the better! Our weekends tend to fill up pretty quickly - especially during the spring and fall, so the sooner you reach out to me, the more likely you are to get your desired date!
To reserve your date, I'll need a contract as well as a deposit. And if something comes up and you need to change your date, just let me know!

If it looks like it's going to rain, snow, hail or some other weather catastrophe, I'll be in touch via email or phone to reschedule. Often, when we're scheduling our initial portrait session date, if it works for our calendars, we'll actually set up both a main date and a rain date just to make sure we don't have to postpone your session for very long if the weather is bad on the original date.
